Hey, my name is Pedro and I'm a college student down in the occasionally sunny Miami, Florida. I attend FIU and am working on a major in Journalism A.K.A. license to starve. I plan on making it to Rolling Stone magazine and bringing back Gonzo Journalism to the dominate place in society that it deserves.

I dig anime. Alot. After being introduced to Dragonball Z and Ranma 1/2 by a friend of mine in high school (Braddok, class of '03), I was hooked. Check my intrests to see specifics. Generally, I enjoy the more dramatic shows, though I do enjoy sillyness and the occasional ero joke. As for manga's, I'm a devout Ah My Goddess fan. It was the first manga that ever got my attention and was the first manga I ever purchased. Love Hina is also one of my favorites, and I'm currently following Mahou Sensei Negima (a delicious blend of Harry Potter and Love Hina, fine roasted to deep, action packed taste). I follow the holy trinity of shonen manga: Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece. I occasionally dip into the Shoujo side of things, as I'm a hopeless romantic and can't resist a good love story. Fruits Basket, Paradise Kiss, and Kare Kano are the main three that have tempted me.

I've also been a gamer my entire life. My family bought me an NES when it first came out. I was playing games when Mario was flat and made up of two colors and a hint of porno mustache. Though Mario may have been the first, Zelda was the best. It was the first game I ever beat and will always hold a dear place in my nerdy heart. If you couldn't tell, I'm a Nintendo fanboy (4 lyf) and don't really dig the Playstation or XBox. I don't own an X-Box and only own a PS2 to play Squaresoft (&*#$ Square-Enix, it's a lie!) games and RPG's. That is also an indication that I'm a Square fanboy, which means that combined I have to potential to be the most obnoxious sonuvabitch on the internets (some would say I already am). Final Fantasy 7 and Chrono Trigger are the pincale of classic RPG's, while Xenosaga should've been the future of cinamatic gameplay and production.

I've grown up in a family of musicians, so it's quite natural that I have a deep love of it. Rock and Roll and the Blues are my perfered styles, though I honestly listen to every type of music (even country, since Johnny Cash could be considered a country as well as a rock star). I'm a Zepplin freak, tried and true. Cream and anything related to Mr. Clapton is also accepted at any time. Jeff Beck is also invited to the musicaly party in my head. I normally dislike Pop, but if the Pop comes from Japan, I'll give it a shot. KOTOKO and Utada Hikaru are excellent J-Pop examples. J-Rock is included, with HIGH AND MIGHTY COLOR and The Pillows representing.

Other non-nerdy ventures in my life include Photography, which has been a life-long love affair of mine. I enjoy working out and running a great deal. I read alot, sticking mostly to works of Neil Gaiman, George Carlin, Hunter S. Thompson and Philip K. Dick (despite these choices, my favorite book is 'The Count of Monte Cristo'. I also write, though that has been on hold as of late due to various chaotic happennings. When those cease, I will continue.
